I guess it isn't really any great event when a beginner uploads a video or two on YouTube, but I still felt like posting here :)
Feel free to comment and rate my videos. They aren't all that great since I've only played since the beginning of September, but I feel sure that I will improve with time ^^

So far I've only got two videos:
Group Song 1 - Greensleeves
Group Song 2 - Lon Lon Ranch

The plan is do about one group song a week until I catch up to the latest. That means that the next song will be Concerning Hobbits.

Sounds good so far! Your technique is pretty good compared to that of most beginners. It seems like you've got tonguing down, which is great, especially considering this is your first instrument. You seem to struggle a bit with subholes (don't worry; it'll come with practice), but apart from that, your playing is good! I would recommend you learn how to do vibrato as well, as this will make slow songs sound much better.

Thanks for your comments and advice. I will look into learning vibrato as soon as possible :)

EDIT: Ok, so now I know what vibrato is. By some strange reason I seem to have used that same breathing technique earlier - my body felt very familiar with it. The bad thing is that I currently do it way too fast, so I sound like a hyperactive pigeon or something. It shouldn’t be that hard to slow down though. I will try to get better and then use it in some upcoming video.

As you can see, I have not been able to film as many songs as I had hoped. The reason?
Well, basically I got down with a bad cold, lasting for over one month due to some damn virus. After that I had to catch up with all school work. In short, I've had a really bad ending of 2009.

When I will upload the next song?
I said earlier that my next song would be concerning hobbits. I'm working on it right now, even though I have some minor problems with the part in the middle of the song. It will probably be up in little more than a week as I'm still rather busy with school. I have, however uploaded another song just recently. I got a new ocarina for christmas and I wanted to try it out, so I played a swedish song by ear. Most for fun. Here it is:
