Adding MIDI Files

Postby ErunnoTheMatt7 on Thu Apr 17, 2008 5:12 am

I was wondering if anyone could post MIDI's here for people to listen to. It will help in the music and group song forums! :)

Posting midis is only a matter of having them hosted somewhere and then posting the link.

If you need a good host for midis, I'd recommend:

http://kupax.com/
Max File Size: 50mb
Storage: 200mb
Bandwidth: 10gb
File Types: Any*
Ads: Minimal or None

If you look at Teidon's sheet music thread, he posts midis along with his sheets.

Or are you requesting certain midis? There are many places to find midis.

http://www.vgmusic.com/ is one of the best.

I would also recommend http://www.hamienet.com/

They have alot of different types of music, and you can download them as MP3s, or MIDIs.

I think it'd be great if it were possible to attach MIDI files to your posts. And PDF files too. MIDI and PDF files are quite nice ways to spread sheet music so it'd be nice if they could be attached to posts without needing to zip them first. I think there's an option to do so in the Admin panel somewhere...

What I was also meaning is that someone can post their own MIDI files to there posts. But I like the idea of the links to MIDI files already on the internet. :)
