Hello. I'm Flip. I go by Flip in real life. So you can call me Flip.

Anywho, I got my first two ocarinas in August 2007 at a Renaissance Festival. One is a four-hole pendant, the other a 6-hole extended range "sweet-potato", though the fingering is in pendant. I fell in love with the instrument and have been looking for more information since then. I found stlocarinas soon after that, and got the 9-hole soprano, but not understanding what I was really getting I wasn't satisfied (I am now). I tried a polycarbonite Mountain Ocarina, but I really didn't like that (still don't, but I'm picky, and I wasn't sure what I was getting yet). Now that I'm finally understanding more...thank you Ocarinas United and specifically DocJazz4 for his wonderful Youtube videos...I bought a 12-hole Tenor from stlocarina.com and am in the works to get a Hind Alto Sweet Potato. I just barely got the 12 hole, and it has made me give my 9-hole another chance, which I am starting to grow fond of, but I am in need of serious practice. Anyway, I hope you all are doing well, and God bless!
