-raises hand- I love my piano. I also hate the keyboard I have to play in church. It's like...not an instrument. There are some good keyboards out there that I would call instruments, but not this keyboard. It's a toy. It doesn't have a full range, and almost every single on of the sounds on it lag. And most of the ones that don't are terrible sounding anyway. There are like three that I can deal with. Kind of. What's irritating is we have a nice (albeit old) keyboard in the back, but whenever I ask about it someone says there's something wrong with the electronics, and sometime they're going to take it in and see about getting it fixed or getting a new one. Never happened. It has weighted keys, and although it doesn't look like it has too many different settings, I'd be happy with just a few nice ones.
Or, heaven forbid, I could not be up there. We have a wonderful pianist up there on a baby grand already, why do I need to be up there? That keyboard can't handle anything but a melody line.
Sorry for the rant. I love the piano I have at home at least! And playing video game music on it is way more fun now that my sightreading has improved. Especially this song (not me playing):
