I just recently got an ocarina with 8 holes and I have scoured the internet looking for how to play it. The only things I could find were for pendant or 10 hole transverse ocarinas

I dont know what to do or where to learn.

Is it 4 holes for the right hand, 3 for the left and 1 underneath?

I have Picture Tabs and Fingering Chart for that on The Ocarina Network.

i have one like tht but i could only find a few songs so i bought a new one. i guess they skip whole notes or something

Six on top and two on the bottom is a Peruvian style. You would want this thread instead.

I don't think i ever recall seeing an eight hole that's weird :s.
