Got my first Ocarina when I was around 9-10 after playing ocarina of time and shitting a brick. When I learned I could get an actual Ocarina (from Nintendo Magazine's article on Songbird Ocarinas) I shat another brick (and then got one). When it came in the mail I was very excited and started playing with it immediately. Soon after that I brought my ocarina to school for show and tell, unfortunately it wasn't able to hold shape with 3-5 textbooks on top of it. This made me very sad and so I shat a third and (hopefully) final brick.
About 6-7 years later in high school one of my friends brought a pendant ocarina to school and started playing all kinds of bad (butt) songs. I thought it was pretty cool, but never cared enough at the time to do anything about it.
1-2 years later I played LoZ again and decided it was time for me to get my own ocarina.
I ordered a 5-hole alto from songbird and a black 12-hole tenor from stl. I looked around youtube and found some of dj4's stuff. I'm pissed that I missed the 10 year anniversary. Anyway, I found this site and thought I'de sign up and see what I can learn.
