Hello, I'm Jon and I just got my first ocarina today. Very exciting :D I've been wanting one for a while. I got the STL Enigma. With the songbooks! I'm gonna be playing just like Link in no time!! Woooooo!

Ha yeah. Anyway I'm 18 and I live in Kansas. Nothing here really except dumb people and cracked out junkies. There are some pretty cool people though, once in a blue moon. I recently started training in ninjutsu, what the ninja do. It's pretty awesome. And ummm I reckon that's about it...

Listen to this song. Oh my god her voice is beautiful.

Anyway see yalls later I'm gonna go play with my new toy.

Byyyeeee

*Edit*

Why did everyone make their own thread of introductions..? We're supposed to introduce ourselves here, right?

Bye!
Jon

New member Intro

Postby armisis on Mon Dec 22, 2008 12:47 am

Hi, I'm David Stanton, www.youtube.com/armisis

I was introduced to Ocarina's from zelda but only thought it to be something from the game, untill in November time frame I found the Smule Iphone Ocarina, now I have 6 real Ocarina's and am practicing every day with them. I love it! Wish we could have received a pendant Ocarina in school instead of a recorder, maybe I would have been more inspired to play instead of just singing in school.

My friend Danner is a massive fan of Legend of Zelda, like me, and he told me about the ocarina, because he reads Wikipedia for enjoyment, and that it's real.
I really recently got a 12 hole ocarina for Christmas and love it :D :ocarina:

Hey, I am Brenna from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and I'll be getting STL's Enigma, and SongBirds Soprano Pendant in March (hopefully). I will be hopefully getting at least $90 (20 is going to Songbird, 70 to STL) for my B-day so I can buy them the same day. lol Nice to meet you all though!
I found out about the Ocarina's and reviews by docjazz4, I really enjoy watching him on Youtube. I instantly fell inlove with the cute and chip tune of the Soprano Pendant (from SongBird) through docjazz, as well with the Enigma. I am really excited to get the Ocarina's. I have been telling all my friends about it and they are excited to see one in real life. Though I doubt I'll let them touch the Ocarina's just incase they accidently dropped one (and if they do then they would have to buy me a new one  )
I am also really excited to have found this fourm! So I hope I enjoy myself here, as well as with my new ocarina's in March.

I have been playing my friends a little bit. I have a recorder, but that hardly counts as an ocarina :D I can play Concerning Hobbits on the recorder. I hope to get some mountain inlines in a couple days.

Hello

Been playing the ocarina for about 2 months now, after a long time of watching videos of Docjazz4.
My ocarina is the 12 hole tenor zelda replica from STL. I'm planning on buying a pendant as well.

I'm from Belgium, 20 yrs old, huge zelda fan, metalhead, dog lover, and euhm... that's about all there is to say I guess.

Hey, I'm Spencer, and I've been playing (Or trying to, anyways) the ocarina for about a day and a half now. I first became interested in ocarinas just under a year ago, when I saw vegetable ocarinas on Youtube. I continued looking at them, and saw some of Doc Jazz's videos. Those are what really convinced me to play ocarina. So, I started looking at some of his recommended sites and picked one out that I wanted from St. Louis Ocarinas. I never wound up purchasing it, because I wound up getting a new cell phone, instead. I got my first ocarina just the other day, and it is nothing like the ocarina I had planned to buy a year ago. The one that I planned on purchasing was a 12 hole tenor ocarina that came with a bag and songbooks. It was priced at about 75$. The one I wound up getting recently was an 8 hole pendant ocarina, sold in a gift shop in a lake education center. So far I've enjoyed playing around with it, and learning new things. This has gotten me excited about playing the ocarina, and I plan to purchase the previously mentioned ocarina within a few months.
Shoop da whoop pl0x?
