It actually only works with iPhone because you blow into the microphone to play a note.

omg tht is soooo amazing maybe the ocarina is actually getting recognised in the outside world as a propper profesional instrument maybe one day it will be as popular as the flute or trumpet lol carnt wait :ocarina:

Sweet. I don't have an iPhone or anything though...

Sometimes I think that Zelda Ocarina of Time maybe hurt the ocarina as being considered an instrument. I mean, tons of people heard about it from the game, but then when they see one online or anything, the first thing that pops into their mind is that game. Because of that, I kinda think that it makes people think that it's just a toy, or a collectible. If people see a violin in a video game they don't think of it as being the origins of the instrument.

I dunno though. The app makes me want an iPhone^^

There is another ocarina app that works on the ipod touch, its called "ocarina spirit"

the smule one only works on the iphone.

The Ocarina Sprit sounded like bad clips of an ocarina didnt compare to the smule to me, but the Smule is what got me into the OC, now I own 17 to include 2 focalink doubles an AC and a AC Forte, and a Kenji Ogawa AC.

The smule tabs also can be easily converted to other Ocarina types.
