Ok onto my lessons. This is reading music sheet for ocarinas in C Major. Don't worry I added a transposing site that helps you to transpose it. You can learn transposing and sheet music! Lucky you. But for those who have Ocarinas C Major, then you don't have to do anything. In my packets, they will guide you through it. Songbird's Sweet Potato and Fairy ocarina WILL NOT WORK. Because I said so. The real reason is that their fingerings are bit different, so you will be wasting your time.
I WILL LIST EACH PACKET OF OCARINA TUNING, don't worry i have A LOT except for those weird sites like rare earth flutes and stuff. (thanks to moonsyne and richard for clayz)
Let me explain what editions mean. Say Pendant editions have 3 editions in them. Edition one = top 4 holes, Edition two= one bottom hole, editions 3= 2nd bottom hole. If you have a 5 hole pendant, then you do both edition 1 and 2. If you have 6 hole pendant(like me) do all 3 editions. If you have a 4 hole pendant, you do only the first edition.
For transverse it goes by: first octave of 7 top holes, then one bottom hole, then 2nd bottom hole, then the left pinky hole, then finally the two subholes. If you have 12 hole ocarina, then you do all the transverse editions.
Mountain Ocarina only have 2 editions (One for Key of G, Another for Key of C).
