Just an idea I had. What do yall think about a section where people can suggest a song for someone to play? So if you dont know what song to learn/play next, you can visit this section to get ideas.

I would suggest that if we do this, one would offer links to the song via youtube etc...

Would you make a separate section of sub-forums for it?
We have the ocarina sub-forums, the off-topic sub-forums, the forum sub-forums, so would we then have the Youtube sub-forums?

This is a fantastic idea.

Whether it will succeed will really depend on our dedication and motivation to really push our limits, improve and attempt the song with fluency.

There was a thread that was similar, where people posted what they would like to hear played. It was much more casual than a challenge, but it still got a decent amount of response.

I could make graphic 'trophies' that people could put in thier siggy if they participate in the challenge.

I love this idea. Would be an encouragement to learn new songs all the time.

Good idea. Though, maybe not in the sigs. I could make "rankings" that would have such titles as:

"2 time Challenge Winner"
or
"April Challenge Winner"
And a picture to go along with it.

My original intentions for this was more casual, but if it could be made into a challenge that pushed ocarina playing and skill, that sounds great.

I would think that there would have to be divisions for single and multi chamber ocarina songs...

But if that makes it too complex...

Sounds great, especially because unlike the request topic I started a little while ago after remembering kcajs on the youtube forum a challenge section will give incentive to play the songs.

I fully support this idea!
