I just got a registration confirmation email for this forum, and it included my username and password in the email.
I feel I should point out that it is not a good idea to include the users password in the email.

Well that is a very common practice among websites, and considering the fairly low activity on this forum, I don't think Ocarinar will see any point in changing this.

ya, I've seen it happen a few times on forums, but a more popular (and better) practice is to not send out the password all, just have a password reset mechanism incase the user forgets it.
But, bad practices are bad practices regardless of popularity. Just think of how many people out there have passwords that can be found in a dictionary!
