More secret spy codes!~ :o

I call them "spy codes" because I actually don't know how to read tabs xD They look like a complicated series of numbers and symbols that contain some Top Secret message I'm not allowed to know :lol: 8)

Lol tabs are easy, it's just remembering what finger combination goes with which number. Now playing by ear, that's difficult. Wish I could do so!

Use the numbering system that's in the book you got with the STL Ocarina. The ones on the front of the box you get it in are diff to STL's, in fact aren't STL the only ones to use this numbering system? Lol i think everyone hates it too! But it works for me so.. :wink:

Hey there! This is the song I'm going to make my goal to learn how to play, Time's Scar from Chrono Cross.

There's a link to the sheet music, I think the violin portion should be adaptable to a 12 hole STL.

well i should be able to give you the tetris theme :P it goes something like this:

3 7. 1 2 3 2 1 7. 6.
7. 1 3 2 1 7.-
1 2 3 1 6. 6.
7. 1 2 3 6 5 4 3 1 3
2 1 7. 7. 1 2 3 1 6. 6.

3- 1- 2- 7.- 1- 6.- 5.#- 1-
3- 1- 2- 7.- 6. 1 6- 5#-

yeah that should do :)

OKay. I can't believe Im asking this lol.
But I find STL Tabs horribly frustrating. But I have 3 books from them, and I"d like to learn the songs.

Is there a way I could have the tabs to notes? I have a C Soprano and a blue double.
I hpe that helps.

if correct you got 2 diffrent charts with your ocarinas, lets start with the double :P
you should have gotten a chart where it says that the number 1 represents all holes, but the subholes, closed.
at least thats what i got xD if this is the case its very simple:
1=C 1#=C# 2=D 2#=D# 3=E 4=F etc...
and a dot below or under it is simply an octave higher or lower.

and you shudve gotten a chart with the 12-hole where all holes but the subholes are closed represents a 5.
in this case the scales goes like this=
5.=C 5.#=C# 6.=D 6.#=D# 7.=E 1=F 1#=F# 2=G 2#=G# 3=A 4=A# 4#=B 5=C etc.

all the songbooks should work with the 12-hole chart
if you got diffrent charts and you cant figure it out plz tell me what number represents all holes closed butthe subholes :P

hope it helps!
