Aight. I'll introduce myself as well!
I am a seasoned (har har whatever) musician of 10 years starting with piano, guitar, trumpet, then saxophone. This summer I bought a couple Tin Whistles and tried my luck at some Celtic tunes which are very addicting.

I have 2 ocarinas, one being a cheap Peruvian 6 hole (sp) and 6 hole pendant which is very large in my hand. I hope to get very skilled with my ocarina, expand my 'collection' and pwn all nubz in my way. Okay, not quite. I hope to help anyone who is willing to learn. I love music and as cliche as it is - music is basically (if not entirely) my life.

I have quite a bit of experience with posting on other forums so I hope to be a help here as much as I can.

i have two stlocarinas, a 12 hole soprano and tenor.

I love how on some forums this type of topic gets abused, people just say:

I'm leaving...

until tomorrow, I'm going to sleep. LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

tnchujo
I recently started my interest in ocarinas 2 weeks ago from a renaissance faire.
I got myself an alto pendant ocarina and now am interested in getting transverse one as well...maybe from stl.

I saw we make a different section for people who are new to introduce themselves; They just make a topic, say something about themselves and we can all reply, say hi, ask questions, ... whatever.

If we do it in one big topic like this it'll turn into slow chat like it is now and eventually people don't even bother looking anymore.

having one introduction thread is the best idea.
because it would be just for that.

if we had a section for it.
people would take advantage of it and could possibly spam, and it would be a lot harder for the staff to remove the spam.
but if its one thread, the spam would be in one place and not spread out.

oh and people don't spam in topic like this? Spam would be easy to get rid of in a seperate topic.. just remove the topic :p

but thats what im saying.
if people did spam in here it would be contained, but if it was a whole section, the spam would be spread out and the staff would have to find the spam by searching through all of the individual threads people have made introducing themselves.
